Primary Class Teacher – Full Time, Permanent

Start date: 1st September 2023

Salary range: Main Pay Scale 3-4

Applications will be considered on receipt and interviews conducted accordingly. This vacancy will close on appointment of a suitable candidate.

The team at Laburnum Primary School are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and learning focussed teacher, to join us in September 2023. This is a full time, permanent position and we welcome applications from teachers with experience in any Key Stage.

Would you like to work in a values based school where positive relationships are prioritised and the personal development and well-being of our staff and pupils is equally as important as academic achievement? In a forward thinking school, where professional development is a priority and decisions are made based on evidence and their potential to impact on the quality of education?

Would you like to work in a school that has high expectations of its staff and learners, embraces a challenge mentality and knows that every child can succeed? In a community focused school where you can challenge preconceptions and make a genuine difference to our children’s social and educational outcomes?

If you can answer ‘yes’ to all of these questions, then Laburnum would love to hear from you, because we are looking for a teacher who can genuinely support our school mission:

School Mission - CARE: Challenge – Achieve – Respect – Effort - Safe

At Laburnum we challenge all learners to work hard and achieve as individuals across a broad and engaging curriculum, where learning is at the heart of all we do. Our children are nurtured to show respect for themselves, others and the wider community by developing positive relationships built on our school values.

We are seeking the right person to join our team and commit to providing the successful candidate with relevant professional development, a well-resourced school and a fantastic staff team, who go the extra mile to support each other and our learners.

Depending on experience, a subject leadership role will be mutually agreed, based on the strengths and interests of the successful candidate.

Visits to the school are encouraged. To arrange a visit, please contact the school office on 01767 680691 or office@laburnumprimary.co.uk.
